This is a great guide for going through the process of choosing a school. I accidentally found the book at the library while my son was looking for a school to attend. There is a lot of information that would have helped us with the process I like the book so much, I purchased a copy for my daughter who is just starting to look at schools.
Your book is rated among the highest, best coverage and least to no errors.. we found informatibe, well guided and useful to anyone getting feet wet or the olypics of college bound pros.
The layout is great, easy to go back and find websites and terms mentioned that I forgot to highlight. I'd say there was definitely new information and ideas that I had not yet stumbled upon as a mom desperately trying not to send a bazillion dollars on a college counselor. I'd recommend to another wandering soul new to the college admission world.
I found this guide helpful along with adMission Possible. I'm reviewing this as a parent of high school student plus I also volunteer in the College/Career Center for son's high school so it's great to learn as much as I can, if I need to help others without actually having to be a guidance counselor. I don't know if I would really call their advice "secrets" but they are helpful information to know.
Good Tips
We're hoping our 'soon-to-be' high school junior will reap very good info for choosing a college in the future.
Nothing here that I didn't see in other guides. Barron's was a better pick for my family.
I love it, great!
